  I had such a nice time at the Hotel Poetto. The people who own the hotel are just lovely - thoughtful, interested, helpful. The rooms are all new and have excellent facilities - fridge (delicious white wine on the house!), patio, incredible shower, toiletries etc. I know some people have suggested that its far from the centre, but its right on a g... what people say » reat beach and only 10 mins on a very frequent bus service from right outside the hotel. There are tokens for breakfast at a couple of restaurants nea - Nice family-run hotel in the quiet Poetto district only 5 minutes walk from perfect sandy beach. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the owner speaks fluent English. Besides beach, there is a green area near by with walking/cycling trails and a lot of birds including flamingos. The hotel is well connected to city center. The buses are frequent and it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the Piazza Matteotti. Finally, there is a free bottle of wine as a welcome gift and I got good Italian

  Good, well-designed and inexpensive hotel: not far from the beach (which is not visible from the hotel); rooms rather basic but sufficiently spacious; a very well designed and kept garden (+ macquis); good parking (with roofs); friendly staff; generally quiet place (excepting some other guests..) - nice for longer stay.. - Everything was included... what people say » in the price: bedclothes, towels & final cleaning. As I read some comments from other guest about 40€ extra for the final cleaning, I was a bit afraid, but for us everything was included in the price. Good service for a very low price.

  We spent a couple of days there. 5 beautiful beaches in walking distance plus the pool, we loved the country-style enterieur. Really friendly staff, we got a bigger apartment than booked as there were available and they wanted us to feel even better! Pets are allowed, which meant an extra+. - We loved absolutely everything about the accommodation... what people say » and the location!!! For the money you are paying it's heaven on earth, highly recommended!
