  The pickup from the port by Christine is an excellent service. She's delightful, helpful and friendly which is so welcome when you don't know where you are going! The building is in a residential area, the views are spectacular and a short 1 min walk to the shops where you can experience local life and catch the bus either to the beach or back dow... what people say » n to the port.   Gioia Residence was perfect for us. We loved our apartment which whilst described as a studio was much bigger than expected. Nico was a superb host and gave us great tips on where to eat and visit on the island. The location was perfect for accessing the whole island and for being part of local life, visiting Giovanni's bar each evening for an Ape... what people say » rol Spritz with the locals was fab! We loved it. - Everything. Very nice, comfortable room. Location allows for walking around an island. Small beach with restaurant is only several steps (and 200 stairs) from Goia. Walk to beautiful Marina Coricella takes about 10-15 minutes. Landlord Nico is very helpful and nice.

  The staff were extremely helpful. Being near the Marina Grande was a plus. There was a hotel taxi to the main marina for easy departure. Excellent breakfasts! We loved the hotel! - Il Gelsomino was the perfect get away. The owner's father stays there and takes care of the vineyard and garden.
