Great location for visiting a number of excellent tourist towns.
Lovely friendly people who made us feel at home. Had great dinners each night and breakfasts were delightful.
The houseand rooms were old but fitted out modernly & very comfortable.
Would recommend to friends and family.. -

The castle was exactly what we expected from the pictures and description, it looks great on to of the hill overlooking the village with it's cobbled narrow streets and medieval atmosphere. This is not the kind of Disney fairytale castle, but the actual romantic medieval castle with stone and red brick walls and parapets and death holes.

The location was brilliant as well as the views of the countryside, the upstairs of the split level room was lovely.
Good clean sheets and towels.
Friendly staff who put up with my bad Italien.
Dinner was good, breakfast basic - it all was a bit like staying over with people you know and don't make too much of a fuss - in a positive way.

We had an enjoyable stay at Cascina Sant'Eufemia. The owners are
warm, welcoming and lovely people. We arrived on Monday when many
restaurants are closed but they recommended and made a reservation for
us at a great restaurant where we had a memorable meal. They very
helpfully suggested places to see and provided maps and directions. Our
only regret is that we didn't stay longer so we could take part in
the grape harvest. We would definitely return.

signor Marchesi, the owner, took care of my needs as soon as I stepped into the hotel. First by carrying my heavy suitcase all the way to the top floor. Very few staff members at other hotels would do that;
at the end of my short stay, he closed the hotel and drove me to the station because he did not want me to walk to the train station carrying

We advised the hotel that we would be late (approx. 1.30mins overdue) and although it was 00.25 when we finally arrived the proprietor had waited up and was there to welcome us.He also insisted on carrying our heavy suitcases up to the room and bringing them down next morning. Great value, great service, no complaints. .

At the time of stay (late September) ideal location to explore some of the surrounding nature areas e.g. the three valleys Maira, Varaita, Po all three leading to the mountains; also not far from Cuneo, Saluzzo, Bra and other interesting cities. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Flats are clean. Fantastic view of the valley and the Monviso.
