the family who own the hotel were fantastic nothing was to much trouble, rooms are clean and comfortable, view of lake from our room. breakfast was excellent you had a lot of choice.If you need directions ferry times or where is the best place to eat just ask the staff very helpful, Cross the road outside the hotel and you are in the main shopping

The staff were excellent and friendly. The underground parking is a bigplus. Pool was of good size, clean and never too crowded, plenty ofloungers. Breakfast was fine but could do with more variety. Clean, quiet. Good for groups, because the 1 bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 people for a reasonable price. For a non-couple, one person can sleep in the bedroom and one in the living-room (shared bathroom,) making it one of the best values around Milan. Free parking, close to a train line for Milan that runs twice an hour. Reccomended.

We loved everything about Hotel Vapore! The room itself was simple and clean, with a perfect 180 degree view of the lake. We ate dinner at the lakeside hotel restaurant 3 out of 4 nights and the food was delicious. The town Torno is quaint and does not feel touristy like some other areas of the Lake Como region, and easily accessible by ferry and bus. We would definitely visit again.
