  My sister and I stayed at the Relais Terme Di Tito, Rome Italy for 4 nights. We were warmly greeted by Krizia, who helped us in every aspect from recommending tourist attractions, to restaurants, etc. We were treated incredibly and felt instantly at home.   Booked as a last minute stop over that was not to far from Rome airport and found this gem of a place to stay. The owners has not been running it very long and really looked after us. The rooms were large and well fitted out. The staff are the highlight at this hotel.   Great location, Camping Tiber runs a bus service frequently to the Porta Prima train station for €1 return, it's then €1.50 for 100 minutes worth of train travel, you will only use 30-40 mins but oh well!! On your return to Porta Prima it's another 100min ticket. The campsite did a great selection of food, we had two great Pizza and house wine is... what people say » fine. We stayed in the cabins with no on suite, these were fine and a bit cheaper but next time we'll pay the extra few euro a day and be on suite, t - It was just a lovely place to stay, and the shuttle bus too and from the train station was very useful. The restaurant was also very nice and reasonably priced for both breakfast and dinner.

  Le Terrazze is about 7 min walk from the train station Appiano, which you will arrive at coming from Fuimicino Airport. It is 15 min walk to the Vatican Museum and Cipro Metro station (which is a few stops away from Spagna) There is an ice cream as well as a pizza shop 3 min walk away where I visited a couple of times. There are also a couple of s... what people say » upermarkets on the way to Vatican or Cipro. The host, Anna, is a lovely lady. I feel safe in the area walking alone and I would recommend it to solo t - Madam Anna is very friendly, generous, helpful and open hearted. Though my room was pretty small even for one bed it served me well with all I needed and it was always clean. The location is also very good if you don't mind to take a short walk to the city.
