The staff! They are beyond amazing. Viviana and her team goes out of her way to make our stay comfortable and make sure all our whims and wishes are met. We have the family room on the ground floor by the gardens and there's a jacuzzi right outside on our very own terrace area. The staffs even clean it again right in front of us when we just mention we will use it.

In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt.
The staff could not be faulted, rooms were modern and very clean,
breakfast was the best continental buffet, and for the older part of the
city, location was great. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro.
Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in
Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time.

The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!
The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ...
In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room.
