  The hotel is run by a great family who made our holiday very special. Our room had a lovely sea view as did the breakfast balcony. On the occasions when we had an evening meal at the hotel the food was really good quality - plus the wonderful view. We have stayed in many hotels and this rates among the best.   We were treated like royalty... the owners of the hotel, a family, helped us with all our tourism questions, they accomodated all our needs, and then offered even more! Our stay could not have been any better. They made us feel like part of their family! It was just wonderful! The room was lovely and the view breathtaking! The rooftop pool was truly an oasis! The parking was an unexpected blessing after driving the Amalfi and seeing how scarce it is.   Ivan and Fabbiana are exceptional hosts - we were grateful to have such wonderful people welcome us to Sorrento. The staff is a reflection of the owners - Giovanni went out of his way to assist us with parking, traffic control while we parked, and carrying our bags to the hotel. Last but not least, Serafina and her home baked - I loved the warm, welcoming staff and Giovanni's delicious cappuccinos. The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends.   Everything! Once we arrived to the resort we all agreed that we had arrived to a paradise.   Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

  The Management and staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are all from facing and have a wonderful view over 2 bay and to Mount Vesuvius. The room were bit basic but clean and very comfortable also had clean towels every day. A ten minute walk into the center of Sorrento. Also has free car parking. I would definitely stay - At first sight, we were we were disappointed with the rather basic room. However, as soon as we saw the huge terrace, overlooking the Bay of Naples, we forgot about the room. (Who needs luxury with a view like that??). The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - perfect location, clean, friendly staff, free wifi at all times and great pool.
