  The hotel grounds were amazing, and the pools were cleaned everyday, the breakfast was great eggs and bacon and delicious cakes. And the staff were great. - Beautiful location and friendly staff. Lovely hotel and spa. Good buffet type breakfast. I come here regularly and enjoy it every time.

  We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room.   Besides the absolutely stunning views of the ocean and Positano, the hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The one guy who handled the pool area/bar, luggage to you room, etc, was outstanding. Constantly helping us with whatever we needed- drinks in hand, towels for the pool, reserving chairs at the po... what people say » ol, ordering snacks, etc, he genuinely seemed to care about the hotel as if it was his family staying there. We also lucked out and were given a free - The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!! The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

  The view is just amazing and its position in Sorrento great. The breakfasts were the best of all our 3 weeks in Italy and the staff very helpful. - Excellent view of the bay of Naples from our balcony. Our room was bright clean and had a large balcony and the staff were very friendly.

  Great, great, great. What not to like? Very relaxed, friendly and helpful staff. Great view. Quiet but only a few 100 meters from the beginning of the main shopping area. Like all hotels in Capri uptown you have to walk from the funicolare or taxistand on the main square to the hotel. This takes 10 minutes or so. They pick up you suitcase in the h... what people say » arbor where you arrive. Allthough the hotel is easy to find once you know where it is, be sure to get your direction to the hotel right. This saves yo - Perfect staff,location,view,quiet,shops only 5 minute walk,clean,romantic,great pool,away from traffic and tourists yet only a short walk to the piazzette. So good we got engaged here! We will return!

  Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent

  We had a large room with private balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel has many pools and activities, even a free kayak for guests. Room was very quiet with only the sound of waves at night.
