  The view - Beautiful pool and location on coast. Great view from restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Single room was ok - a bit small, but had all the necessities.

  Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. The pool area was a very ... what people say » short walk from our apartment, with an infinity pool over looking the sea and the smoking Sulphar volcano in the back ground. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  The island had been closed for any boats because of weather, so the owner contacted us and proposed to change for the next day. However, it was in November - low season. The rooms with sea view are great (because of the sea view). There is also terrace with swings and chairs. Rooms are big, with small kitchen and old styled furniture. Very cosy. J... what people say » ust 3 minutes walking from Magmatrek, where excursions start. 7-10 minutes walking from the harbour. - Excellent location few minutes walk from centre of Stromboli village, large spacious well equipped room with terrace overlooking sea and mountain behind. Staff able to book trek to crater for guests, breakfast served at nearby bar with good choice of items. Main reason for visit was the crater trek, but found that there is so much more to do on the island.
