The Livernano is also close to many local towns, historic sites, fine restaurants, and famous wineries. The complete restoration of the entire estate began in 1990. Today, Livernano is both a hotel and a working farm, producing fine wines, excellent olive oil and honey, vegetables and fruits. All meals served at Livernano feature local produce. Two of the estate's houses have been completely redesigned and furnished with local antiques, to accommodate guests. A spacious swimming pool provides relaxing moments.

Hotel information details

The hamlet regained new life in 1990, when the complete restoration of the entire estate was begun. Today, Livernano is once again a working farm, producing fine wines, excellent olive oil and honey, vegetables and fruits. On 38 acres new vineyards were planted with 9 different grape varieties. In the ancient olive groves, new trees were planted and we now tend close to 1000 tees, all of native Italian varieties. The remaining 130 acres consist of beautiful mature woodland that surrounds the hamlet on all sides.
Two houses have been completely redesigned and furnished with local antiques to accommodate guests.

The swimming pool (12,5 x 6 meters) has been positioned harmoniously into an old terrace.
A breakfast-buffet is prepared each morning, and if you wish you can join our authentic tuscan dinner, cooked by our old tuscan lady-chef.

How to reach the hotel:

By Car:
- On the A1 motorway take the Firenze-Certosa exit.
- After the toll gate turn right and follow the signs for the ‘Raccordo Firenze-Siena’, towards Siena for 21 km, and take the exit ‘San Donato’.
- Turn left towards Castellina in Chianti. Once in Castellina, turn right towards Siena (S222) and continue for 1.7 km until you reach a brown ‘Livernano’ sign (on the right side of the road).
- Follow this sign along the dirt road for 5.3 km towards Radda in Chianti.
- After 5.3 km (when you reach the large metal ‘Livernano’ sign), take a sharp right and follow the hotel's private road until you reach the hotel.
