The staff sent me a warm, helpful email after my initial booking onLetsBookHotel.com which really made me feel comfortable and welcome at theirhotel. And, it assisted us with specific information that we neededprior to arriving. Out of 7 hotels which we booked for our 14-day Italytrip, it was the only one to send us a personal email. All the staff were absolutely fantastic,Mimo and Marilyn were ultra professional and very friendly.If I could,I'd return tomorrow and I hope to soon.The food and service were exellent.And the views were stunning.The breakfast/dining area was beautifully dressed with breathtaking views day and night.Thankyou for a great stay.

It was hard to get to the hotel from the landing point for the Ferrys to and from Naples. We did not have our own transport so it was a work out for our legs but once you got your breath back the views were fantastic.I wish they would have told me it was a shared terrace with 4 other rooms. I had to share my terrace table with another couple and it made me feel a little uncomfortable but it was ok. Yes, the steps leading up to the hotel were very steep, but once you got to the top it was worth the views. The hotel requested a portion of our bill be paid in cash - no debit orcredit cards. This was not made clear to us at the time the serviceswere ordered. The staff member was rude and agressive when we complained.Other guests had the same experience. This policy should be clearlycommunicated to guests in order to avoid unpleasantness. I think that these days it is ridiculous to charge for internet access. There are a lot of steps up to the hotel and it's a good 20 minute walk from the center. But, the bus runs every 30 minutes until 12:15am and stops right in front of the steps to the hotel. Price of food and drinks at the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely below "standard" level, let alone "superior". For eggs, an additional payment is required. Not much choice in bread, no fresh orange juice. Given the fact that there is no free parking near the hotel (an additional 21 euro's per day), makes this hotel somewhat expensive. The view made it all worth though!. The older members of staff seemed gruff and we did not feel especially welcome. it was like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. the TV had no reception at all. You don,t come to Positano to watch TV, but why have a non-functioning box in the room? The internet access was ridiculously priced at 8 euros for gretaer than 30 minutes.The only problem is the steps, which we didn't mind, but I can see forsome it would be a problem - it's quite a climb back up to the hotel,there's a lot of steps, so not suitable for someone who's any sort ofdisability. Other than that the hotel was great. There are not good facilities and is expensive.
