The staff was wonderful. They suggested a terrific local restaurant for dinner. I speak no italian and there was no communication barrier at all. Very close in location to the sights we were interested in. Would stay here again. Very friendly and helpful staff - only ever met such good service in family-run hotels before. Great breakfast. Very convenient location right inthe heart of the medieval city.

Room (which was a family room) very small and dark, window looked out onto a wall. Breakfast could be better!. Down a side street, with smelly bins at one end. Compared with many other similar hotels we have stayed in the breakfast was poor - the coffee was dreadful. The bathroom was very old and the shower needed renovation. The drains smelt badly - the simple use of bleach would probably cure the problem.Beds too small. candy wrap under the bed, spider web, bath room too small...The lobby and staircase are so old and badly decorated. Very expensivefor the quality proposed. shower, cold room, room space, access, this is not a 3 star who ever graded it needs to review.
