Our stay at Bagnolo was wonderful. Even though we speak close to none Italian and our dear host only speaks little English, we had a wonderful time. Bagnolo is beautifully situated within the rolling hills of Tuscany. It is a nice farm and you are treated as extended family. It is quiet and a great place to relax. all reviews » The hosts were very kind, even though they spoke very little English, they took the time to help us when we needed. Pets are very friendly, the farm dog, "Luna" walked alongside of us while exploring the property. Great views, great food, and very peaceful. Great location for those looking for the true Tuscany country side experience. Only a 5 min drive into the city center of Pienza. We will definitely be coming back to stay:)!. One of the best places I've ever been to. Beautiful house is set in the most amazing Tuscan countryside, far away from crowds of tourists, sunrises and sunsets are just stunning. Magda was extremely welcoming and kind. Breakfast included the most delicious yoghurt and ricotta from their own sheep's milk. Magda also produced the most delicious apple cake - sheep's yoghurt and olive oil as key ingredients. The surrounding scenery is stunning and in a most beautiful part of Tuscany. We could not recommend more highly. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is close to Pienza and other towns, but far enough away to be in the country. Host was friendly and helpful. We inquired about this, and they said only on Mondays, which was the major reason for us to book at this location. The bed could have been more comfortable. But hey--it's a farmhouse! And it truly was lovely. A little bit basic but this is to be expected from a 'rustic' agriturismo in the middle of the countryside. - the breakfast offerings on the website sounded better that the real thing- we would have appreciated some fresh bread and the cheese tasting promised.
