This B&B is in the middle of the historic centre, right at the corner of the major cobblestone roads, Via Tribunale. The window isolation is good, so there is not much noise, and there is AC in the room we stayed. The building is old, but the interior is newly renovated. Vittorio, who owns and runs the place, seems a bit unorganised at times, but he is very friendly and helpful. He was in touch with us via phone (e.g. to fix the check-out rendez-vous), since he is not around all the time. I.

Service: Vittorio was very kind to provide me with any information I needed. Tourist points of interest, restaurant recommendations, and public transport information. Room: recently refurbished, clean and very quiet. The location of this B&B is perfect – in the heart of the old town of Napoli. Therefore even lonely traveler can stay there – it is absolutely safe place to stay and come back late at night. We had no problems with personnel. Our room was cleaned every day. Safe, clean, perfect located and friendly place absolutely worth the money it costs. Nice tidy B&B located in the heart of the Historical Centre of Naples. Staff were excellent. Even when we arrived slightly early it was no problem. Down the street from Pizzeria Di Matteo which we'd definitely recommend (pays to get there when it opens at 7:30pm to avoid the crowds). B&B Maria is in perfect place of the city. Is possible to go around by foot without problems, is possible so easy to find everything and go to all parts of city. The place is save. Could do with more spare blankets. Limited breakfast, no internet in the room. Bathroom was relatively clean but the water did not flow well in the tub which was really uncomfortable. Owners present just sometimes, cold room, bit smelly bathroom. It is too difficult to find the hotel. Hotel was hard to find in the narrow streets with minimal signage. The bed was hard and you had to sit outside the office to get wifi service. Bathroom fittings were very old and need to be replaced - shower base filled with water each time it was used. Wildlife in the walls was a little disconcerting.
