Breakfast and only 2 or 3 m walking to San Marco - The hotel was charming, bright and full of character. We stayed in the Junior Suite which had a jacuzzi, a reasonably priced mini-bar, a flat screen TV and the room was decorated in a quintessentially Italian manner. Good location in quiet small pretty square close to St Marks Sq and gondola's. Clean, bright and nicely decorated / finished. Excellent friendly staff. Our passports were pick-pocketted when boarding passenger ferry to car park on departure - nothing to do with hotel but receptionist was most helpful with advice. Beware ferrys / pick pockets! Great

Lady managers very hospitable and accommodating. Rushed to get room ready as we arrived early and gave us coffee etc while we waited. Gave us map of city and pointed out highlights re eating and main attractions. Room made up daily with nice fresh towels and water provided in fridge.

Excellent location. Very near to water bus station which was extreamly convenient to visit venice and other Islands. Good service , no language issue infact all staff speak english. The location was fantastic. An easy walk to almost everything (if you factored in getting lost because that is part of the Venice experience surely!) Was great to have a supermarket just around the corner for convenience and a boat pier so close for easy walking with our luggage. Communication was excellent from the owners from start to finish. Laura was fantastic with her meet and greet and provided us with fab information about the local highlights. Apartment was warm, clean and comfortable
