Swimming pool and views are amazing. The town of Montaione is such a beautiful town with amazing views, lots of cafe's and restaurants. Location is amazing. Located in the countryside, lovely towns to visit in Tuscany, supermarkets around the corner and mini market. Apartment is lovely, well equipped, comfy beds, wifi, etc etc. Could not fault it!!!. We've just returned from a perfect week's break at La Valle. The setting was incredible, with fabulous views over Tuscany. The villas were peaceful and quiet - the pool was never too busy or noisy, and the outside dining areas are well positioned to ensure privacy from other guests. We would heartily recommend.

Staff really helpful giving directions, info and maps to local sights and beyond. We only had a day there but needed longer to make use of the pool and tennis court. Nice country home...fit the family perfectly. Owner was so nice and helpful. The showers were strong, the home heated well. Free washer. I would stay again. Wish we could have used the outdoor pool, but it was still too cold in early April. Great location - central to all key tourist destinations and Montaione is high up so you get stunning views. Close to supermarket (walking distance) and restaurants to suit all budgets. Owner is very friendly. the place located in a beautiful green (may)mountainous area. heard the most beautiful birds sounds ever. the apartment contained whatever we needed in a way we hardly had to communicate with the staff. Good location not far from all major attractions, a trip to Volterre is a must. Beautiful country side, value for money, quiet. Good recycle system :) would definitely stay again. Very relaxing stay. Good location in respect of shops restaurants etc and for visiting city sights in Florence Pisa and Sienna. Good pool. Genial hosts. The apartments were clean and were a good value for the price. The location and the views. Accommodation very good. Nothing, although I would like to mention if there is anybody that is not good on the feet I wouldn't recommend staying, a little hilly down to the apartments and pool, only a 20 second walk down the hills though, but some people might struggle if they suffer from medical conditions. But beside's that could not fault it, very enjoyable stay!!. The appartment was a little dark and the furniture and fittings a bit dated - but this didn't really negatively affect our stay. All good. A little out of the way and isolated, but right in the heart of Tuscany...40 minutes from Pisa, 30 from Florence, 25 from San Gimignano and 45 from Sienna. No dryer, you have to depend on the sun or hang up clothes on the radiators. Would benefit from a small pack of essential cooking ingredients on arrival as you have to buy everything (salt, sugar, oil...) from scratch. the toilet system. it works with air pressure.. and stoped working in certain point. we used buckets of water. didnt want to be bothered with it. guess it wasnt a representative situation . Not much not to like lovely place, I didn't like the big spider in the curtain and I think the terracotta tiles could do with some rugs in the colder months to make it a bit more cosy. Mosquitoes.
