Continental breakfast was excellent. Cold cuts, yoghurt, fruit, good juice selection and several types of pastries. location,service,I stay in milan 2-3 times a year in the same area for the last 4 years and try different hotels everytime but this was the best.Design of the hotel and family atmosphere. Clean, comfortable and a good location for the price. A peacefull place close to good restaurants, shopping points and local transport.The price was really good for a 4-star hotel (only 65 euros). Location was fairly good, near the central station and "on-the-way" to city centre. The cleanliness of my room (with "invisible" cleaning service), excellent breakfast, big terrace.I found a staff was a very friendly. Nice value for the money. The hotel is situated very close to centrale train station which is 4 or 5 stops away from piazza Duomo that you will spend most of your time. very close and easy access to the train station though. The wall of the bathroom, specially in the corners at the bath was full of black fungi. After taking the shower the floor of the bathroom was full of water. There was leakage somewhere. The coffee at the breakfast was really strange. Reception staff were arrogant and uninviting. Hairdryer didn't work and the 'double bed' was two singles pushed together.Booked because of bar and restaurant facilities which were closed when we arrived. Need refreshing (repairing) in some room details. Everything looks old.no restaurant (for a 4* it is really unbelievable) and the bathroom was in a poor condition: bath plug broken, mirror lights as well and no shower curtain. Older gentleman at reception should get retired. He was so rude and unhelpful.The single room was onthe ground hall, at the back of the hotel, with its window at the height of 180 cm or more, really dark. A real dungeon, althought clear. The room was equiped to be used by handicaps, but compared to the normal rooms of the hotel it was a discrimination. We were really disapointed. The receptionist aff tried to cheat me by offering a lower class room than booked. The appearance of the hotel rooms, breakfast and the overall service corresponds to 2 star hotel, not to 4 stars.The smell in the room (coming out from the bathroom) at the 1st floor was really disgusting. Breakfast not satisfying a 4 stars level. The room was dark no sufficient light in the room. My room was left without making it up for one day because of miss coordination between the house-keeping and the reciption. The staff does not speak english. The hotel does not have the 4-star standards.No a/c - service at all zero-breakfest very poor. yes. lack of early morning breakfast; lack of guied informations of the hotel facilities e.t.Warning!!!! They change the price of booking only because they are fullbook, and say if you don't wont to stay, find another hotel. The room was very little and the bathroom was really awful..I found the hotel staff to be quite unfriendly! facilities in my room did not work i.e. hair dryer, balcony door could not open.
