We stayed in this hotel for one night as an alternative to staying in the much more expensive Venice. The hotel was easy to find, only a short walk from Mestre station from which the trains into Venice are regular and only about 1.5 euros each way. The room was a decent size and clean, as was the bathroom. However during in our stay we heard some kind of rodent scratching away in one of the pipes above the shower however this did not interfere in our trip nor did we see any in our room. There i.
all reviews » The hotel is less than ten minutes from Mestre train station (a 45-60 minute coach trip from Treviso airport). Trains to Venice go every 15 minutes and cost 1 Euro. The hotel is light and airy and the rooms a good size with high ceilings. Ours was spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the hotel has a terrace which was great for a beer or coffee in the shade first thing in the morning or last thing at n. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, general questions about the area, as well as taking care of our every need. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The location was very close to a small supermarket, the bus station and train station. We felt very comfortable walking around at night in the neighborhood within which the hotel was located. Mini-fridge was really small. Our gps didn't know how to get us there - lots of one way streets, kind of a maze to find the place. Room on the street side was a bit noisy, both from cars and from the drain pipe in the wall. The bed was maybe a little hard for my taste. In the 4 days we stayed there was nothing to dislike. Nothing. The coffee wasn't very good! I would prefer to have breakfast included in the room rate. Excellent value. We have nothing negative to say and will happily return to this hotel. Apparently there is a staff at the front desk 24h per day. But, the front desk service ends at 11 P.M. Apart from that, the maximum time do leave your room for cleaning is around 12 p.m. I found it quite early compared to other hotels I've stayed. Nothing. Italian WiFi system (it is not the hotel's fault). Wi-fi is weak, always asks login/password (different for every device) after sleep mode, very inconvenient. I'd prefer to have few drawers available in the room but the kind manager clarified it has been a choice to help the staff to quicker and better clean the room. Had breakfast, which was nice, but it would have been good to have been offered a way of changing our clothes and freshening up before setting off for our day in Venice. no tea-making facilities in the rooms. air conditioning with perfume added to the air. location is good for the station, but there are not many restaurants or cafes nearby. Nothing. Decent prices, but nothing spectacular. We had ants in the room. Otherwise everything was perfect. No eating in the room?. Wi Fi was free but kept dropping out.
