We loved staying there! The appartement is spacious, has a small kitchen (including a coffee machine, fridge, dishes etc) and all rooms have lake view. It's true that the hotel is up on the hill and therefore maybe a little difficult to find at first and a like 20 min walk from the city, but otherwise it wouldn't have this amazing view of the lake and the mountains surrounding it! Moreover, it's a very peaceful and quite area. The restaurant downstairs has good an inexpensive pizza. We didn't h.
all reviews » We stayed here for 3 nights. The view from the balcony was amazing. Witnessed a sunset so beautiful I could not capture it in photos. The apartment was very clean and it had everything we needed. It was a good sized apartment. Everything functioned good. It was also very peaceful and a very comfortable place to stay in. The host Alessio was also wonderful, pleasant and very accommodating. He took us downtown to the supermarket, the ferry, and he was always there when we needed a ride back to th. Alessio was super helpful throughout our stay and bent over backwards to give advice, help us out with anything we needed and bring us croissants in the morning at a given time. The studio couldn't be faulted for cleanliness and the kitchenette was extremely well equipped - there was everything you'd need for a short break. And if you don't want to cook, there's the restaurant - great food at really acceptable prices. The off street parking was also a plus. The most friendly owners we could ever imagine,welcoming,kind and helpful.Appartments spacious,clean,with breath taking view,located about 20 mins walk from the centre up hill,but owner Alessio always ready to give a lift to the town ,he has picked up us on arrival,and his parents drove us on our way back with luggages to the bus stop. Spacious apartment with beautiful view of the lake, perfectly equipped kitchen, nice and helpful landlord. It is recommended to come by car as the nearest shop is a bit further away. Alessio is a charming and helpful host. The view of the lake is sublime and the apartments are in a quiet location. The terrace has an umbrella for shade. An excellent experience. Unbeatable views of Lake Como, proximity to Villa's and gardens, excellent walks go from your doorstep, close good restaurants, superb personal service from the owners. Lovely view and very welcoming and helpful staff. Will definitely recommend this place to our friends. Best if you have a car as it is a bit out of the town up a hill. The manager Alessio was really nice offered us lot of help especially when on the very first day our rental car had problems. Neat and clean, good value for money. The view of the balcony is perfect , you can see the whole lake , Bellagio and Varenna are just on the opposite site ! Parking is a Big plus !. The view from the terrace was absolutely beautiful! My fiance and I are not avid hikers so the first day we came there we didn't realize the distance from the ferry is a bit of a walk/hike. We did not see any taxis so we decided to find the apartments on foot but had heavy luggages so we were so tired halfway up to the apartment. We met an very nice old man who was kind enough to give us a ride to the apartment. Alessio is also wonderful. He took us in his car to where we needed to go afterwards. Nothing!. Nothing, perfect. We liked everything!. Nothing. The sachets of soap and shampoo in the bathroom are poor and there should be larger bottles available. A small point and the only failing of the place. No negatives for us. Shower was not as powerful as we are used to. its almost 30 mins uphill walk from the town/lake como. You can call Alessio and he will pick up/drop with his car. Although the walk downhill was easy (15 minutes), the walk back up was a bit harder (25 minutes). Alessio did offer to drive us anytime we needed help, though, which was very nice. Could have been cleaner. No washing machine. Nothing. May be not too close to the Lake.
