The Relais La Capella is absolutely enchanting. We adored it. The small hotel, made up of a mixtrure of individual rooms and small suites/apartments, is in the most incredible position high up a richly-green hill covered in olive groves and woodland and overlooking Lucca and the surrounding area. It is small and intimate, with comfortable and interesting common rooms incuding a library with a piano and beautiful kitchen with dining room under a vaulted ceiling. It is an exceptional location with a beautiful view over the town of Lucca, with a great pool, a chic interior decor and very good traditional food. Emiliano is a very welcoming host, very funny and a great chef. You can ask him what do you want for dinner and he will prepare for you. He does everything by himself making guests live some unique experiences. Hurry up and book because I do not know how long he will resist this way :-) I recommend this splendid villa for young couples who want to .
The setting- a breathtaking view from a beautifully restored historical
estate. The grounds are from a storybook and the owner/host will
ensure that your stay is memorable. We enjoyed our meal outside on a
patio overlooking the valley, or you can chose to dine inside in a
traditional Italian atmosphere.
Great, relaxing experience..a vacation from the vacation:-)...the owner
goes out of his way to make the experience enjoyable and provides expert
assistance with information...another plus was the food, the care and
quality shine in the cooking...
The owner and host was very friendly hospitable and generous.

There was nothing about our stay that I can criticize. La Cappella is
as-advertised. If you plan to leave the property to explore Lucca, you
will want a vehicle, as it is a 10 minute drive to town. We chose to
stay on grounds and enjoy the unique experience.

Uncomfortable bed, not air condition,wi-fi doesn't work, dinner costs 70euro for two but it's not delicious.
