The hotel itself does not have a restaurant of its own, but there are several restaurants in partnership, which gives 10-15% discount. The location is good, close enough to the beach and Viareggio (I biked a bicycle I borrowed for free from the hotel) - Fantastic place to start in the mountains and explore most important places in Tuscany and Liguria. And of course beach :) sandy, big and only for 10 euro for place (umbrella, deck chair x2, chair). Free bikes, little old, but ok :)

  The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly. They went beyond our expectations to make us welcome. The hotel itself was beautiful, food was very good, artwork on display was interesting. Two interconnected rooms for a family of four at 110 Eur total in the end of June is a tremendous price, which makes you forgive all - Hotel is located in the city center, near the sea.   The most wonderful Receptionist ever!! Nothing was too much trouble not only did she Google any facts we asked about; but she printed maps with full scenic cultural places and car parks best to use.We went up to our room ready to leave and was given all this invaluble information as well as a re cap b4 we set off! Our balcony view looked one way to the wonderful mountains and the other-way to the beach and very wide pro - The room was very modern, comfortable and clean with a balcony. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Diane and Emmanuel speak excellent English and really helped us out with local information, restaurants, car hire etc. They gave my wife and I a door key each which was so useful. Great to have private parking. We got a strong free wifi signal in our room.
