We stayed at Piazza Di Spagna for three nights and then returned for another night after travelling to Positano. The location is perfect, within walking distance to most of the tourist sites, the Metro and villa Borghese which is a great place to take the kids. the room is spacious, clean and modern. We loved having our coffee machine in our room ... what people say » and a kettle and bar fridge which was so rare in all other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Our entire stay at Piazza di Spagna Prestige was a marvel. This is a
beautiful boutique hotel, where each of the rooms has its own distinct
character and charm, and they are all classy, harmonious, and
comfortable. The staff is exceptionally nice, and the owner Giovanna
takes care of any request you might have. Before our visit, I informed
her that we were coming to Rome to get married, and she then upgraded us
to an absolutely gorgeous room to make sure we would get great photos

We are absolutely fascinated by the administrator Mabel, which prompted, helped and was always kind and smiling.
I like everything: clean rooms, air conditioning and fan, clean comfortable bathroom (even though it was separate from the room), breakfast with everything we need.
The hotel's location is also great - from the Termini station you can easily get to other parts of Rome, other cities and regions of Italy as well as to airports.

The hotel is well situated for accessing all attractions by foot, there is a guide to the neighborhood that makes you feel like an insider, the roof top patio is the great place to start your day with breakfast, or start your evening with aperitifs, the owner of the boutique hotel is often on site greeting the guests, the rooms are spacious, moder... what people say » n, well equipped, and the bathrooms are massive. It was new, good bathroom and beds. We had a real ironing board and iron. Very quiet, no smoking, close to everything in central Rome, we walked to everything we wanted to see. Staff were good without fawning and obviously tip trawling. Most importantly it lived up to it's on line promotion, photos were honest.

Positives: Casa Santa Sophia is a delight!
Joined to the convent, it is run by the Catechist Sisters of St Anne (there's mass every morning at 06:50, if you fancy joining them).
Simply furnished, this is a very basic hotel, and not one for a "romantic weekend" perhaps, but a perfect crash-pad for friends having a break in Rome.
I loved it - clean, quiet, spacious, friendly.
Hearing the faint sound of the nun's choirs singing waft up the stairwell after breakfast brought a tear to my eye (beauti
