  Location was great and the staff was very friendly and polite. First day they gave as a great map of Rome which was very useful and we didn´t need another one. All main atracttions were close enough to walk. Rome is really fascinating and impressive town. Room was very clean, but bathroom is a bit too small. Elevator in the hotel is great, maybe 1... what people say » 00 years old but better then many new ones. - The hotel is located in a very nice area in Rome and I am sure that many tourists will have a good impression of Rome. There are ministries and good shops and restaurants nearby. The reception staff were very kind and helpful. There was a bottle of delicious welcome wine in the room which was nice. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the good cappucino.

  Gambero was centrally located in the heart of Rome making it very easy to just walk outside and start the day. We spent long hours just walking around and stumbling upon amazing historical monuments. I think it's safe to say that finding reasonably priced housing in central Rome is not an easy task so I'd say that Gambero, though not the nicest pl... what people say » ace I've ever stayed, served its purpose for us satisfactorily. - Superb location, friemdly staff and very clean.   We stayed at Piazza Di Spagna for three nights and then returned for another night after travelling to Positano. The location is perfect, within walking distance to most of the tourist sites, the Metro and villa Borghese which is a great place to take the kids. the room is spacious, clean and modern.   "What you see when booking is what you get", It's close to the train station and Metro. Very clean , friendly welcome, Breakfast quite basic but fresh pastries and coffee set out which you collect and eat in your room. very good location for a base point, Shops, Mini s/market, Laundrette and resturants all on the door step.   Comfortable rooms and warm treatment from the staff. Massimo and wife were really accomodating to my wife and kids while I was away for two days out of Rome. Location is great and walking distance to train station.
