  We were highly satisfied with the service of Aelius B&B. The first thing you should keep in mind is that it is not a regular hotel where everyone will be at service 24/7. But if you are looking for a cozy, yet renovated room at a very affordable price at the heart of Rome (it is so close to Termini and Repubblica and next to Piazza delle Finan... what people say » ze) and a small breakfast to keep you going for your day in Rome, Aelius is definitely the place. You have a free laptop, connected to internet at you - The staff was excellent, super-friendly. Many thanks to Paulo for making sure our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed the breakfast which included coffee, hot chocolate, juice, marmelades, toast, yogurts in several flavors, cereal, croissants, cake... And I am sure I am missing some stuff. The location is very close to the Termini station, about 5-7 minutes of walking.

  Location was great and the staff was very friendly and polite. First day they gave as a great map of Rome which was very useful and we didn´t need another one. All main atracttions were close enough to walk. Rome is really fascinating and impressive town. Room was very clean, but bathroom is a bit too small. Elevator in the hotel is great, maybe 1... what people say » 00 years old but better then many new ones. - The hotel is located in a very nice area in Rome and I am sure that many tourists will have a good impression of Rome. There are ministries and good shops and restaurants nearby. The reception staff were very kind and helpful. There was a bottle of delicious welcome wine in the room which was nice. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the good cappucino.

  Gambero was centrally located in the heart of Rome making it very easy to just walk outside and start the day. We spent long hours just walking around and stumbling upon amazing historical monuments.   We stayed at Piazza Di Spagna for three nights and then returned for another night after travelling to Positano.   "What you see when booking is what you get", It's close to the train station and Metro. Very clean , friendly welcome, Breakfast quite basic but fresh pastries and coffee set out which you collect and eat in your room. very good location for a base point, Shops, Mini s/market, Laundrette and resturants all on the door step.
