  We liked the location being close to the Vatican, close to the bus, metro and taxi stations. The staff is very cordial, professional and helpful. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The roof garden terrace is great for breakfast, aperitifs, with a view which is unique in Rome. There are lemon trees, olive trees, kumquat trees, lavende... what people say » r bushes, Bougainville bushes, and other lovely flowers. We strangely recommend the hotel as world travelers. - I found the staff of the well positioned hotel to be its greatest asset, they went out of their way to ensure that everything I did in Rome was perfect. They were great in their recommendations and everyone I had dealings with were incredibly knowledgable on Rome. I highly recommend it and would stay there again next time in Rome.

  Federico the host was very friendly and welcoming. He provided us with an orientation to Rome and gave us some tips for exploring the city which was much appreciated. I am a young woman, and could walk around without my husband even in the eve - It has a great location. You can reach everything by foot with a short walk (or talk the metro if you want to). Usually the area close to the train station is not great, but this hotel is located in the best area close to the train station. We were out until midnight every day, and only met friendly people. The breakfast is great and the room is spacious and very silent. The staff is very friendly, never had so much insider information at check-in. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

  We were highly satisfied with the service of Aelius B&B. The first thing you should keep in mind is that it is not a regular hotel where everyone will be at service 24/7. But if you are looking for a cozy, yet renovated room at a very affordable price at the heart of Rome (it is so close to Termini and Repubblica and next to Piazza delle Finan... what people say » ze) and a small breakfast to keep you going for your day in Rome, Aelius is definitely the place. You have a free laptop, connected to internet at you - The staff was excellent, super-friendly. Many thanks to Paulo for making sure our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed the breakfast which included coffee, hot chocolate, juice, marmelades, toast, yogurts in several flavors, cereal, croissants, cake... And I am sure I am missing some stuff. The location is very close to the Termini station, about 5-7 minutes of walking.

  A lovely B & B at a really good price for the area. Our room (at the back) and bathroom was large, clean and nicely decorated. Very friendly and helpful owner. We have stayed in this area before and it's perfect for visiting the Vatican. We used the hop on hop off bus to get to the other sights, although they are within walking distance. The ... what people say » area is clean and safe with plenty of nice shops and places to eat. Breakfast was served in a local café only a very short walk from the B & B. W - The hotel just next to Vaticani museum, and also just like few minutes walking from the tube station which can bring you to other main places. The hotel is in a safe, nice building and it is quite clear and modern and comfortable, I definitely will recommend to ppl who travel to Roma and want to stay in the centre.
