  I adored this hotel. From the moment we booked we received conformation emails from the owners, and then nearer the time, further emails to check if we required a taxi -- which we did and everything was booked and made simple for us. We we arrived the staff were ever so friendly. They gave us information about where we were and the nearest "big at... what people say » tractions" if you will. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The room was pretty classic, it won't blow your mind but lets be honest -- if you're - The staff at Locanda Colossea was excellent. They were extremely helpful, and it was great to actually have someone at the front desk during the day. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff even gave us a bottle of wine from the family vineyard (which was a very good wine!). The location was also very good, just minutes from the Colosseum and the Forum. The breakfast was served at a cafe two doors down, and there were several choices including eggs.   The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew a couple of different languages enough to be kind and helpful. The street was quiet and even though I had read that you could hear others in the next room, guess we were tired enough from our sightseeing, we didn't hear anything. The room was large, even with a queen and two twins in it, it wor... what people say » ked out fine. The beds were comfortable. I wasn't so sure about the twin cots but I slept on one and no problem with my bad back. It is just a 5 mi - Very friendly staff, clean bedroom and bath, AC and shower works well. I thought the room is pretty sound proof, as we did not hear any noise during our 3 nights. Bed is firm but we liked it. The hotel is on a quite street and feels safe. It's actually next to an adult cinema but very quite and did not bother us. Walking distance to Termini station, there is also a bus station(#90) near by, we used it from train station but we did not find out how to ride it the other way around. Overall, a goo

Locations is very practical for the station and public transport. The owner is extremely helpful and obviously cares about his business. - The holder is very nice there. He was very helpful with locations... what people say » and also I left our wallet at the hotel when we check out and he was happily returning it which was nice. The bathroom is really also great free breakfast in a cafe next to it. Definitely worth the money!!
