This is simply the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at. The location is excellent - not in a touristy area, but very close to the Vatican and other top sites in Rome. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. We loved everything about La Quercia Di Mamre -- especially the staff. The proprietor and his son were very warm, friendly and helpful. Hotel is very central, situated on a busy shopping boulevard near the station. Lots of boutiques in the street where you can find good clothes, bags, souvenirs. Cultural attractions are nearby on foot or by bus/metro/subway. Rooms are large and new, good beds, good bathroom and a minibar. Staff was friendly, helpfull and polite. No breakfast but lots to find in the neighbourhood.

Really good value for the money. It is a really small apartment but it was really clean. The breakfast was ok but don't expect much, it is a cappucino and a croissant of your choice (they were really good though). 5 minute walk from the train station, 5-10 minute from the metro station. Wifi was strong. -
