For the price we couldn't beat this for our short stay to Rome. The staff was incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming, beds were comfortable, rooms totally adequate, never had to wait for the shower, coffee at breakfast was great (although fresh pastry would've been nicer than packaged). Tram is right outside on main road (which was loud - bring earplugs) For us ,the inconveniences were balanced by the price. We spent that money on good wine and delicious food instead of a ro

It only took us 10 mins walk with suitcases to get there.It was great to be located away from the hustle n bustle of the main - The hotel was perfectly located - within walking distance of the colosseum, pantheon, Trevi fountain, and Spanish quarter. It is also right around the corner from the metro and down the street from Termini Station, which runs to one of the airports in Rome. There are also a number or good restaurants of all prices very near, within 10 minutes walking at a leisurely pace. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving tips on how to get into the Colosseum and Roman Forum without waiting 4 hours

  Excellent was in a residential location so had real italian food thatwas a short distance and prices were very cheap. Was a 5 minute walkfrom the Cavour metro station and 10 minute walk from the Collosseum.The bus stop was outside our hotel no. 71. Staff was extremely helpful with a late arrival to our party and dealing with the airport in helping locate lost luggage.

  The location was great! We could see the San Giovanni cathedral's top statues right out our window and strolled past the Coloseum nearly everyday on our way to and from other Rome sights. The owner was also really friendly. We usually left before he arrived to clean rooms and such in the morning, but he made us expresso to go with our breakfast th... what people say » e two days he was around. And he had some free maps for travelers. Since the place is set up with a bunch of bedrooms attached to a kitchen/living are - Location was perfect, a short walk to Metro, many good restaurants nearby and shopping as well. My sister and I felt very safe, our room was just the right size, comfortable bed and a nice view with a small balcony. The owner Bernardo is gracious and welcoming.
