Close to the Roma Termini train station which made transport easy. Inexpensive...but you get what you pay for.
The fellow that provided the breakfast service was outstanding. Basic food, but he was quick, efficient, helpful, polite, and was clearly working hard each morning to ensure that everyone had a pleasant breakfast. -

We stayed at Maryelen from the 7th till the 11th of November.I had lower expcetations,because it is a 2 star hotel ,BUT everything was excellent.The people are really friendly, the rooms were clean (there was a maid comming everyday),the food was nice,it is really maimly sweets,but its Rome ;) If you asked for a toast or something else,they are going to make it for you :)

The location was great. Within a 5-10 minute walk from the train
station. The daytime desk manager was fantastic! He was so helpful with
what to do and where to go. I even walked from the hotel to the Forum
and Colosseum. Took about 20 minutes but not a bad walk. Hotel is also
close to great shopping and restaurants. There is a little pizza place
down the street that serves pizza and a drink for 3.50 Euros! I would
stay here again!!

We were staying in the Colosseum Garden II: 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is very big, clean and cozy, comes with a nice and equipped kitchen.
Towers were changed everyday and beds were made.
Hot water for shower was good and consistent.
There was a notice not to touch the switch for the hot water in the bathroom. Just take note that the switch has to be constantly "ON".

Great location, just a couple of blocks away from the main train station and a couple of blocks away from the Santa Maria Maggiore. Lots of eating options just around the corner. Extremely cooperative owners and staff - even though they had difficulty communicating in English. They were very friendly and helpful. -

Olga was a very friendly and had a very warm personality, even though
she couldn't speak English well. Nevertheless, she made my wife and
I felt very welcome to her place. She even helped me organize a ride
from the airport to her place (very helpful!). The room we got was comfy
and very clean. There was free Wifi connection. The location was great,
which was literally a 5 min walk to the nearest Termini Metro Station.

Very nice location two steps away from Termini station, besides we could reach on foot the Colosseum, the Spanish steps, the Trevi fountain. Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops in the area, plus a couple of mini-markets. Daily room-service. All necessary things in the room including toiletries. Neat and tastefully furnished rooms. Great for the money!
