whenever we asked for anything.
The hotel is small but our room was quite large. The whole place is well kept, comfortable and, coupled with the warm service, has a very homely feel.
It is 2 mins walk to St. Marks Sq and about 4-5 mins walk to the Rialto Bridge. Having said that

where the owner or other staff were seated. They were very attentive to
our needs, We came in two groups and both needed help finding the place.
In both cases the staff found us and guided us to the hotel.

All the staff were suberb; they spoke good english, they smiled and they could not have been more helpful. Directly behind Campo San Zulian (Church), could be hard to spot due to the mazy outlook of Venice streets. If you spot Timberland, you are 30metres away from the main door of the hotel, take the quiet dark walkway on the left from timberland to avoid walking a long detour on the right (which leads to san marco square)
