  As many reviewers comment, the entrance is sparse at best. The entrance is no indication of the hotel once you get up the stairs. We aren't sure why some reviewers comment harshly on the stairs... The location of this hotel is exceptional! It was a two minute walk to St. Mark's square (once we got oriented) which allowed us to visi - Location was perfect. Nice to be able to put all 5 of us in one room. Staff were very easy to work with and accomodated some special requests and made good recommendations for dinner, sight-seeing, etc.. - Great location-close to everything. Staff was very helpful and informative. Kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great on the patio. Do have to climb a lot of stairs (no elevator) but very nice place.

  The apartment is very nice and comfortable with perfect location. Mr.Hugo, the owner, is very helpful person. We liked very much this apartment and we were really very happy there. Everything was perfect. I have already recommended this accommodation to my friends.

  This is an good hotel for a family. The hotel staff was excellent! They really went out of their way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed having a family room as these are hard to come by.   The hotel staff was very polite and extremely helpful. The hotel room is spacious and grand, quite medieval venetian style. The hotel gardens and the surroundings are fascinating for an early morning stroll. Do eat in the hotel even though it's expensive as their executive chef menu is something to behold. I will always remember the valentine's day... what people say » special menu; it was super! - We were upgraded to a junior suite which was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful...5 star service. The location is also perfect. The shuttle worked like a charm. The breakfast, which was included in the rate, was excellent.
