  Perfect location in Muggia, a nice little town outside of Trieste. The owner, Lydia, was very nice and helpful with everything from restaurants to contacts with the police when we got parking fines! Comfortable rooms with a big common terrace. Well worth the money!   Nedelko (Reception staff member) was smiling, funny & helpful - he helped us learn a few Italian words & answered our lame tourist questions! Rooms are spacious & double glazed windows help shut out traffic noise. Tip - ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator. I would stay here again if I was fortunate enough to visit... what people say » Trieste again. - Very kind staff! Always friendly and helpful! The city center isn't far away. Very helpful staff, they let us enter the room before 9:00 am on the first day and kept our luggage until 8:00 pm on the last day. It is also near the main sights and very close to the Grand Canal where you can dine at local restaurants for a very reasonable 20 euro or so.
