Hostel was quite far from Firenze SMN (central station), but reachable by bus in 10 minutes or taxi (10 EUR).
Rooms clean. Common showers, but plenty of, clean and everything worked well.
Breakfast and dinner were cheap but decent, especially dinner (many delicious dishes with a glass of wine for only 9 EUR, unbeatable offer).
Groceries and ticket office right in front of the hostel.
International community, stuff spoke good english.
Maps and guides for free on reception.

We loved this hotel. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big and clean and we had a balcony with a great view. The centre is a 20 minute walk away, but the walk down the river (past a number of good cafe's etc) is worth the effort. Staff is helpful, welcoming, and multilingual.
The apartments are in close proximity to the metro station and staff will gladly call you a cab/taxi - that arrives within 3 minutes guaranteed - if you need to go to a site that requires access by taxi/cab.

I really liked the space and the facilities, especially the laundromat
(paid) and car park (free). The apartment was well furnished and was
extremely comfortable for us. It was also in a safe neighborhood, though
it's not very near the city central (approximately 15-20mins walk to
most locations). The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It's
clearly states that check-in ends at 7pm, however due to some delays on
the roads, we only managed to reach by 715pm, but they waited for us
anyway.

Still close to city center if you like to walk. Very friendly stuff, found good solutions for us parking. Room at the top floor had a beautiful view and the terrace at the evening was great. There is a pizza place very close, just over the bridge - very local place. -

The staff were very helpful and attentive. Room was lovely. What I particularly enjoyed was the intimate garden at the back where I had breakfast each morning. Had a lovely dinner there with my family and things were equally pleasant when I turned up on my own one night for dinner to catch up on email. -

My stay at Hotel Masaccio was very nice experience. The staff was friendly and it was a quite atmosphere. It is Budget-friendly. There is a food store that is 5 minutes away from the hotel. And there is also a Wash-and-Dry if you need to wash or dry your clothes.
