We stayed only for one night, so we took the only available loft room. As it is located on attic and doesn’t have - They have an English book shop on the ground floor. Breakfast on the terrace is beautiful. It is away from the hustle of Siena but close enough for an easy walk and easy to drive to. You need to know that when driving there you need to drive through the "Porto St Marco" gate, ignore the no cars signs and camera, when you get to the hotel, park anywhere, drop your bags, give them your registration and they arrange a permit for you and give you directions to their car park which is under the hote

  The staff (Georgia and team) were very gracious, welcoming and professional. Their suggestions and assistance on everything from selecting tours to handling dirty laundry made our time in Siena fantastic! Our room was immaculate and spacious. Maid service was friendly and convenient and the breakfast was fantastic--we were so comfortable, it almost... what people say » started to feel like home! - Georgia, the Inn Keeper was delightful. She made us feel welcome and provided excellent recommendations for dining in the area as well as help with travel arrangements and sight seeing. We had to leave the hotel very early in the morning - 5:30am to catch the train to Rome on our last day and she arranged for our taxi and provided us with a box breakfast to take with us.

A 15-20 minute walk into the town center or a bus stop across the street can get you there in less than 5. Our room was large and clean and the breakfast was good too.
