  Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, we were very lucky to be given a room overlooking the canal which was great. Cesare (owner of the hotel) could not be more helpful. He truly made a good hotel into a great one! Very personal, easy to get to from the boat stops, and a very short boat ride to the main island.   This hotel was top class & great value for money via this website as we got 4 x nights in superior room with breakfast for £400! We also got a complimentary transfer in a private vaporetta from the airport & back plus we could use the free vaporetta provided by hotel to go to Venice (literally stops at St Marks) each day (the mooring is ou... what people say » tside hotel too so super convenient) which was fantastic as saved us £100's & only way to travel in style really! The hotel is very smart & qu - what can I say? fantastic hotel in every way, arrived very late about 11.30, staff were very helpful, gave us complementary drinks, bedroom out of this world with messanie floor, décor amazing, they had to give us 2 rooms instead of three because of computer problem with an upgrade, we loved it so much we decided to stay there the next night although hotel wanted to give us three room the next night, with complementary breakfast on top! breakfast eat as much as you like and only cost 16 euros e

  Loved staying here - would go back again in a heartbeat. Andrea, the owner goes the extra mile. The reviews are true about this man - just lovely. A real authentic experience. Great location - far enough from the crowds, but walkable to everywhere. We loved Venice and staying here was a large part of the reason we loved it so much. It felt like a ... what people say » home stay. We stayed in the family apartment - so much space with a rooftop terrace and a balcony over looking a canal. Beautiful. We have now been tr - The location is great, next to 2 vaporetto stops, Ca'dÓro and F.te Nove (you can get to the airport easily from the latter), and yet it is not in a crowded, touristy location. The place is very unusual - in the 2 days we were there, we saw an exhibition of photographs / textiles in the entrance (as part of the Venice Biennale), and we also witnessed a dance (tango!) in the main hall. Andrea is a good host and very helpful.

  The rooms were great, new in design. Beds were great with extra blankets and pillows. The breakfast was the normal Italian b/b pastries and meats cereals, but enough for a morning starter. The location was close to the big San Marco Square, just remember to get off the boat at the Celestial, then it's only a 10 minute walk, or cal and they welcome... what people say » and get you. Thanks Santo for everything! - Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is basic european with rolls, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt, etc. This B&B is off the beaten path in Venice, so you have to walk or take the vaparetto to most places. Walking to St Marks Square, Rialto Bridge, etc. is easy. There are 2 Vaparetto stops nearby which make travel around the city easy too.

  The location was ideal, 5-10mins walk from where the airport transfer boat drops you off, and the same distance to the famous Rialto Bridge. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and had good English. The thick curtains, very effective against early morning sunshine and light sleepers. No sound carried through the walls. Bottles of water from the mini bar in the room were cheap - It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.
