We got there in July 2013, it was on a Sunday, the parking opposite the guest house was free( €4 all day for weekdays). It's a home away from home. Carlo was very accommodating. We don't often see him in the guesthouse but he definitely knows how to attend to our needs.
The guesthouse is a few minutes walk from Termini station, which is the main train station in Rome which can get you to other cities like Florence, Milan and Venice. There are a lot of covenience stores within the area where you can buy less expensive bottled waters and some fruits.
The free breakfast was served in a nearby cafe. Nothing fancy,

The location is very good: near the railway station Termini (it is especially great if you use the train to/from the airport), walking distance from the downtown and 1 min from metro. Fair breakfast (juice, yogurt, croissant, coffee, an egg). Nice staff. 24 hrs reception. Wi-fi in the rooms but not in the back yard. -

Firstly i would like to say thank you to the girls at reception, were absolutely brilliant, they are friendly and super helpful, they went out of their way to help us by booking 2 tours for us and printing the tickets etc, the rooms are well appointed and although there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room there is a dedicated room

Rome River Inn is fantastic! Don't bother searching any further for the perfect place to stay in Rome. The rooms are good size, very comfortable and well appointed. Location on the river allows easy access to all the sights. The 3 lovely sisters who own and run the inn are very warm and welcoming and will help in any way to ensure your stay is perfect. Very nice breakfast too! We will definitely stay at the Rome River Inn on our next visit to Rome.

I loved the fact that it is a small hotel, and the service is personalised, flexible and very friendly. It is very quiet, there is not a lot of coming and going, and the rooms are quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful bathroom and toiletries with a lovely big bath. Fabulous! It is also a short walk to the station, which was a big advantage. It is close to the metro, and if you like walking it is an enjoyable walk to most attractions.
