The location (just 2 stops from Termini using the subway) offers a great starting point for many trips around Rome! Staff is super friendly! Breakfasts were delicious (don't expect loads of stuff, but rather some freshly baked croissants and other pastry, milk products and salami, fruits, eggs, muesli, etc.). We visited Rome as the first stop on our honeymoon. Our flight from the
us was canceled so we missed the first night and arrived to Rome early
in the morning. The sweet lady at the front desk could not have been
more helpful or kind. She bumped us up to a room with a better view, let
us get breakfast while we waited and then got us into our room as soon

Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
