  We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but... what people say » we didn't get a chance to see it. Very pleased! - the hotel was central to everything! We loved the location and the big breakfast. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.

  the location was brilliant. got on the grand canel and the water taxi stopped right at the hotel front door. staff and room was all very nice. breakfast was the best we had during our two weeks in Italy.

  Absolutely fantastic! We have enjoyed ourselves a great deal at the hotel. Perfect location, excellent staff, comfort, view, breakfast, etc. - beyond all praise! Besides, It was so nice to relax at sauna and jacuzzi after a long day of sightseeng... Our special thanks to Svetlana at the reception for her kindness and helpfullness.   The location was excellent..next to water bus /water taxi. Breakfast was great..the decor of hotel really created an atmosphere of old Venice..the location was close enough to everything yet not so close you felt crowed by center. The room was apart of the entire experience of Venice..my daughter especially enjoyed all the little 'extras' in the b... what people say » athroom, rooms were wonderful size... - I Loved everything about my stay at Palazzo Stern. The Staff wasoutstanding, and very courteous, the hotels cleanliness and service wassecond to none. Everytime we left the room, we came back and the bed wasmade, and there were chocolates on our pillows, the breakfast waswonderful and the eggs tasted amazing. On a scale of 1-10, I give thishotel a 15!!
