I had free use of the internet.It was great to have the freedom to hold bags at counter for a few hours after checkout to see more sites and the ability to use the shower when i came back to collect my luggage. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly. You are also very close to everything. The double-glazed windows helped to shut out the noise from outside. The price of the room was very reasonable considering that the hotel is centrally located.   The room was a good size - double for one and comfortable. The bathroomwas very nicely appointed and clean. The breakfast was good with anassortment of espresso options. They had an English speaking staffmember available at all times and all of the front desk staff waspersonable.

If I ever make it back to Florence I would be sure to stay there again! - The best feature is the location! You walk out the door and BAM! there's the Duomo. Waking up to the bells was an experience I will never forget. Also, it is an easy walk from the train station as well as to the major Florence attractions. It made walking around in the cool evening enjoying the city very convenient. The hotel itself is very charming, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful place to stay!!!

  We liked everything about the Hotel Pendini. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Florence, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room on the second floor was fabulous, it was really spacious with a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom, all very tastefully decorated. Our room was a new 2 room family suite also designed to accommodate disabled persons and located on the second floor. Unfortunately it did not have a view of the square but the rooms facilities and comfortable size made up for this. The staff were friendly and helpful. An excellent stay. Highly recommended.

I had not been there for a decade or more and this time found it had upgraded itself to a 'hotel,' level 3 in the Italian style of rating.   Central location. We could walk to all the sites. Apartment was large and well equipped. It was a relatively easy walk from the station with luggage. Office for check-in was between station and apartment so easy to access. - Good location, the design of the appartment is interesting, all equipment is modern.
