Welcomed by a big roman wooden door, which was an unique experience. Room was big, shower with heater was working well. Real stone walls separate rooms from others, total isolation of peace.   The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... what people say » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

Beautiful place, spacious room, very high ceilings, we could see few historical buildings right from the window. Room was warm with a big bed. Location is absolutely amazing. Colosseo around the corner, we literally walked everywhere (even returned from Vatican by foot ). Breakfast was brought into the room on your selected time. We really enjoyed to stay there. If I go to Rome again I'll stay there again.

  The room was impeccably clean! We stayed 7 nights and each day we returned to the room after a long day of sightseeing, the room was perfectly cleaned, bed made, fresh towels. Every morning breakfast was delivered to our room. Even though our room faced busy Via Cavour, the heavy doors for the windows cut out all street noise and every shred of... what people say » daylight, so we were able to sleep soundly and not be woken until our alarm clock went off. We never heard noise from the adjacent rooms, except whe - Fantastic central location - 1 min walk to Forum. Lots of good bars and restaurants within 2 mins walk. Hotel owner was a lovely, elderly lady who couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful (she even gave us a wake up call at 04:15 on day of departure and ordered taxi transfer to Termini for us).
