Food is expensive but found a Carrefore Express in Via Vitoria (a side - Adriano was the best host ever. We are a young couple who came across La Maison Del Corso by coincidence! And what a surprise, we spent one night at the B&B and were impressed by the hospitality, cleanness, location, room size.. everything! Upon check in, Adriano invited us to taste the famous original espresso and gave us directions for key places in the city.   I can't speak highly enough of the service offered by David and his father during my stay. I foolishly booked one night short, and David offered to give up his own room to me! (Fortunately another booking was a no-show and he didn't have to). After my tablet was stolen (in the street) he let me use his laptop. They were like famly to me.   I would absolutely recommend this hotel to all the guests. The hotel "Villa Patrizi" is very good situated, not far from the Termini railway station. The location is very nice and quiet, what as I've heard is not typical for Italy. The staff was always super friendly, the breakfast was good and our room was just fantastic. The next time I go to Rom... what people say » e, I'll stay there again. - The hotel staff was excellent; very professional and helpful.The location,though a little out of the main tourist areas was great as it is in a quieter leafier area and taxis are readily available in minutes by order from the hotel. What you spend on taxis is more than compensated by the hotel rooms being much cheaper than city centre ones. This hotel is a real find!

  Accessible to several bus lines 10 mins to Termini, 20 mins to Vatican, 15 mins to Colosseum....the location is perfect. We found several inexpensive restaurants, local eats, supermarket a few feet from the Suite, we did not speak a word of Italian but all the people, restaurants, and locals would try to accommodate you. I would highly suggest the... what people say » area for its convenience, budget conscious travelers and open to local feel or lifestyle. - The room we chose looked just like in the picture. Fabrizio was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he waited for us on request, after the check-in time. There's a supermarket nearby where you find almost everything you need. The bus station connecting to Termini Station and the historical center was quite close (about 5 minutes by foot). It is nicely placed, the surroundings are very pleasant and silent.
