I would really recommend Four Rivers as it was in a fantastic location and the staff were brilliant. It was within easy walking distance to all the major sites and luckily for me there was a close by taxi rank, which was helpful, as I was unfortunately on crutches during my stay. A converted 2nd floor of an apartment block, this 'hotel' is very small but very clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and friendly, much more so than any larger establishment we've stayed in. Walking distance to all the major sights: only 5mins from Piazza Navona and The Pantheon. Lovely continental breakfast in the morning. A very personal hotel with "family feeling". Excellent location; perfect to be able to walk to all sights in the day and then just cross the bridge to have dinner in Trastevere in the evening. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. Very cosy and comfortable appartments not far from Trastevere and all sights.
There were all necessary staff fresh towels, breakfast (either hot dishes), laundry service, air conditioner, free wi-fi.
Owners were very nice and hospitable, were ready to help and to share the useful information. Thank you, Ladies!
Moreover, near the appartments there was market with fresh vegs and fruits.
