We stayed three nights at the hotel and enjoyed every minute. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, the rooms clean - although the shower and elevator were each about half the size of a phone booth, and the breakfast was very good. But what made this hotel so delightful was its location. The neighbourhood is vibrant and exciting, with restaurants, shops and people going about their business everywhere. We wanted to stay close to Piazza Navrona, but away from the hustle and bustle of the Piazza. Hotel Teatro Pace was just perfect! The hotel is small, and the staff was extremely accommodating. Our room was nicely done with nice bath, and windows that opened to allow the sounds of the area add to the ambiance. A wonderful little trattoria is just a block away. The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

We took a taxi from Termini station direct to the hotel. Easy to find, apart from we were not aware that the reception is on the 4th floor. The hotel has a Baroque inspired interior and as such is decadent and over the top, but beautiful. The hotel is new and still had evidence of building work, but it was August and the builders were on holiday so no big deal. I very much liked the simple, un-fussy atmosphere, like an old fashioned pensione; the situation was superb, with the Pantheon outside my window.
