Also the hotel is away from the busy tourist 'hot spots' (Rialto / St Marks) whilst remaining in easy reach by foot or vaporetto.   Th staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast is served by a lovely lady who has an endless supply of croissants. Our room was clean and tidy with a well equipped bathroom (powerful, warm shower).   This hotel was fantastic! Do not listen to all the negative reviews and just try the hotel for yourself. The room was lovely and clean, the staff were great and the breakfast was excellent.
