Rent a scooter to get a - The people, the location, the peaceful atmosphere, and the food are all so wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and they helped my friend and I very much. We loved it so much, we ended up staying four days just at this hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone and especially visiting Ischia rather than visiting the more touristy Capri. Thank you hotel torre sant'angelo!!!!!! :)

  We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". We soon found that he meant to drive his cab to the hotel ( lots of winding narrow roads, took about 45 minutes). But we got to our destination and couldn't have b... what people say » een happier. It is run by a family. The dad was a builder and the mom a decorator. The daughter speaks the most English and the whole family was extre - We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). Renting a car is a very good solution, but we didn't rent cause we were afraid of tricky roads on island. The breakfast is nice, but there aren't much

  Everything was perfect, one of the best hotels I've ever stay in. Limited amount of rooms makes the hotel - "like being at home", same with hotel's restaurant. The grounds were landscaped with beautiful plants, and the public areas inside were really nicely done - a big lounge and the restaurant looking out onto the terrace and the view. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean, and a decent-sized room, which was quiet for sleeping. It was easy to walk into town or get a bus.   Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.
