Giardinin Naxos is close to Taormina (about 3 km) and it is a lively and beautiful seaside resort. We think it is a far better choice than Taormina as the prices are lower and the beach is much nicer (Taormina has just a tiny rocky beach, accesible only via cable car or bus, for a rather large fee) Excursions to Mount Etna and the sorroundings are orgnized from both Taormina and Giardinin Naxos.
