Hotel Saturnia is on the Gardone Riviera, in a little village called
Fasano, about half way between Gardone and Maderno. If you are arriving
by ferry, take your pick at which village you want to walk or take a bus
from. Both lovely walks but along the main busy road. Hotel is lovely
and owned by a family who obviously care a lot about their
establishment. I had a room with a balcony which looks across the lake
from the other side of the road. And a busy road at most times of the

basic but clen and good courtesy welcome, good parking facilities.
Cleanliness.
The traffic noise didn't stop all 24/7!! Guess that's ok if
you can sleep through it. Walls are paper thin !!!! Won't tell you
what was going on all night in the room next to mine! Breakfast quite
basic but sufficient. And the oddest thing! The first floor was alarmed
so you couldn't leave the floor for an early morning run or walk
without having to call the night manager!!!.
very noisy, it is just on the main and very busy street with heavy trafic.
Even with the double-glazed bedroom windows closed the traffic noise was so loud that neither of us could sleep.
The manager (owner?) was surly and uncommunicative. It wasn't a friendly place.
