Open, spacious apartments which were beautifully decorated. Wonderful communal lounge, with free Wifi. Close to the beach, and in the centre of the Old Town, so lots of beautiful architecture, good restaurants, cafes, and the local fish market nearby. A short walk from the main town, where there are supermarkets, and plenty of other shops to visit. Wonderfully friendly staff, who tried to be as helpful as possible even though we couldn't speak the same language.

We were part of the Italian way of life with access to all the best Italy has to offer - food, beaches, history, religious processions and bells! Our apartment was breathtaking-spacious with a great bed and access to a huge shared hospitality area which allowed us to socialise with other guests. It is a very beautiful palazzo in the centro storico of Gallipoli! It is decorated with very good taste. The whole building, with star ceilings and many other authentic aspects is realy special, we loved it. Our appartment, Scirocco, was large,clean and confortable. We enjoyed it very much and would like to return some day. I could imagine staying for longer and wish we could have. Such a cool place. The original art in the rooms and sitting room (which is more like a palace ballroom) have exceptional original art work. Locality in the center of the old town, the building, the common shared rooms (livingroom). Great place, great ambience, everything in Gallipolli is clean, "user friendly" and safe. Some cooking facilities available. The location is very good in the old town of Gallipoli. The reception staff didn't speak English which made it a bit difficult to ask about local attractions. The beach has the potential to be lovely, but unfortunately had not been kept clean. Power points which wouldn't take new appliances. Uncomfortable kitchen seat, plenty of room for a sofa instead. I didn't like the noise level within the building. I didn't like there being no plug in the kitchen area. lack of payment option, no staff there, needs luck to get a free parking space. The particular room we had (but it was the cheapest) no outside windows other than a rooflight so a bit claustrophobic. I did not like that we did not have any day light in our room Mezzogiorno. There was just one small top opening which was not enough. no local staff. No one present at check-in and check-out not available until 9:00 in the morning. Very inconvenient. No breakfast. Over-priced. I received a painful bite from a centipede on the floor. No service at all : No breakfast (but we know it in advance), additionnal beds not made.
