  First of all, the location couldn't be better. It is located about 2 blocks south of the Duomo, and 2 blocks north of Ponte Vecchio bridge and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. There are city buses, and unbelieveably one of them comes right down the narrow street with a stop right in front of the B&B, so coming from the train statio... what people say » n with suitcases was no problem (1.5 euro bus ticket). The staff was excellent, and helpful in suggesting sights not to miss and how to get to them - Bruno showed us the most wonderful hospitality, we had a fantastic stay with him in Florence! He helped us book a lovely restaurant and was endlessly helpful with where to go and what to see in his home town. The B&B is his home and is run with warmth & love. The rooms are clean, comfortable & simple. There are tea and coffee facilities available at all times and a little mini bar for your use. Location is wonderful, right in the heart, near the Duomo but not at all noisy. Recommen

  Everything was great! From the beginning the staff gave us spot on information to reach the apartment, met us their on time and helped carry our lugguge up the 3 flights of stairs! Then spent time going through a map showing us the location of the attractions, good restaurants and places not to miss. We had 2 terraces, off the kitche - We just loved this quaint little apartment. Although small all that was required was provided for and in good working order. Washing machine was also easy to use. Bed linen and towels good quality and apartment was clean. Of course location was fantastic and we had no noise issues. In fact we enjoyed getting a bit of taste hearing about some Italian domestic life while sitting on the balcony.   We stayed in the apartment for a week and we enjoyed it very much. We had the studio.It has everything necessary-kitchenette, microwave, fridge, cutlery, what we really appreciated is that there was a washing machine in the basement and you dont have to pay for it extra. The location is great, a quiet street but in the centre, very thick walls so ... what people say » you dont hear your neighbours. The landlady is very hospitable, and helpful. The wi-fi works very well, all the facilities work properly. We liked sta - The apartment was in a beautiful 16th century building. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.   Palazzo Alfani was perfect, a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, local hints and restaurant recommendations. We had a huge apartment, with separate bedroom with afresco ceiling, lovely shower and bathroom, and really well equipped kitchen and living area with enough basic essentials to get you started. The restaurants we were recommended were all top notch, just a shame we only had 4 days, we highly recommend. - we were there for 4 nights for my wife birthday and totally enjoyed our stay there. The apartment was great . Great location as it is very central and within walking distance to many tourists attraction. Right opposite to LE ACADEMIA , Francesca was wonderful and helpful in every way. we will strongly recommend Palazzo Alfani al David and we are already planning on our next trip to Florence and intend to stay there again
