  The location was great. Just far enough from the city center to be quiet at night. Only a 25 minute walk to the train station. A kitchen was great to have especially with kids. It had to still be cleaned but Sara gave me the key - - The room was very cozy, nice and clean. - Location is perfect! Away from all the city fuss and just next to the Piazzale Michelangelo. - Sara (the owner) and her husband were very nice and helpful!

  I booked a double room for just 2 pax initially but one day before arrival 2 more friends decided to join us. Luckily our room has two sofa beds, so able to accommodate 4 of us. Stayed there for just one night, we checked in late as our train was delayed. It’s a pity that we only had a very short stay in Florence, it will be nice if we are able to stay few more nights in Novella House. Will - Novella House is renovated 1800s apartment house with original frescos on the ceilings. It is impossible to roll your luggage into the hotel but fortunately the owner took our bags up into the room (there is a small lift). Our room was spacious with a decent bed; there was a sitting area for tea and coffee, but the bathroom was so tiny, it had a foldaway shower. The room itself is quiet but outside the window you have the typical Italian street noise, maybe more so as there is a boarding house

  Perfect location. Crawling distance to the Duomo. In the heart of Florence. Loved Lorenzo and his mom Barbara. Very clean, very comfortable and included a lovely self serve breakfast. Wi-Fi was also good. We entered through an unassuming doorway, up a tiny old exposed elevator to a welcoming B&B on the forth floor. Very quaint!
